Also guys, just kind of want to get this out. I am NOT AT ALL asking for you guys to feel sorry or make it better. I just want to TALK about it. Let it out and write it down.

I just hate seeing my friends upset. Everytime they come to me to talk all upset, I just feel awful that they have to go through it!!!

Now look, I'm not at all telling you guys NOT to talk to me if you're feeling sad or angry and want to talk to someone about it. I'm no psychologist, but I'll do anything in my power to listen to you and help you get over it if you need to. Trust me. Don't ever hesitate to talk to me. I'm here for you.

I'm only saying that I just HATE seeing my friends sad or angered because of something that happened. I know some might think I'm being selfish since it's about them and not me, but that's it at all. I am not selfish. Selfish is if I didn't care.

I do care. I care about you guys completely, and do you think I have an easy time when someone tells me they're not feeling all right? I don't expect them to feel perfect all happy go lucky 24/7, because I know life isn't perfect.

Especially when a friend is suicidal and/or cutting themselves...that hurts me horribly.

You're probably thinking "Cass, how can you feel that way? You're not the one cutting yourself! You could never know how I/they feel! You're so selfish!"

Excuse me, but do you think I can smile and nod when I get told of that kind of news?! You think I can just go about my life all happy go lucky?! Do you know how hard it is knowing that people you love are acting selfishly like that?

I know, I know it's not my problem and I shouldn't let it drive me banana sandwich, but it does. I can't turn my back on this sort of thing. I don't want to think of my friends in that situation.

I'm just letting you guys know, that it hurts me when you guys are upset. I want to do what I can to cheer you up and help you move on. Because it's not worth it.

Just now, one of my closest friends told me they're not feeling all right, but they had to go so they couldn't talk about it. And you know how I feel right now? I feel worried, and about to cry. Because not only are they in that state, but I can't do anything to help for a while. It hurts.

I know in my life I don't have a lot to be sad or angry about, and I know I shouldn't feel bad when others don't. It's not my fault, or theirs. It's no one's fault.

Guys, listen to me on this, this is harsh, but I want to get this across.

Life is worth living. If you're suicidal, then I'm sorry, but you're being selfish. I know life isn't the best, but ending it all over some things, although I may not know what, but all you'll be doing is putting your loved ones through hell. It's not worth it. There are ways to manage your life. Life is managed, it is not cured. There will be hardships and obstacles, but if you keep what's good in your life close to you, you can overcome them. Guys, there is nothing cool, funny, helpful, or fun about killing yourself. IT IS NOT THE ANSWER. Go ahead and argue with me all you want. Please, think about what you're going to put everyone through. When it comes to being suicidal, it's not all about you.

That's all I wanted to say. I want you guys to know that I care about all of you, and that I will listen and try to help your problems.

I'll give you all some tips on how to deal with this kind of thing:

~Take some time to cry, or punch a pillow, a few minutes of that won't kill you.

~Surround yourself in things that cheer you up. Your stuffed animals, your favourite movie, your fave book, things that make you laugh.

~Write down how you feel, or talk about it to someone. It helps, trust me.

~Think of the good things you have in life, and things you have to look forward to. Example, you and your friends are going to dinner saturday night, or, you're going on vacation this summer, whatever you have coming up that you're looking forward to.

~Do what you can to manage the sitiuation rationally if you need to.
