~Chivalry Is Dead~

When it comes to the Akatsuki, you think anything good is about as easy to find as gold in the middle of space.

Now let's follow Deidara, as he goes about his ways on a date. He's not into chivalry, no, not happening. We'll see how his date puts up with it.

Let's start with arriving at the restaurant.

“Here, I'll take your coat for you, yeah.” Deidara offered, taking off Casana's cloak.

“Oh, thank you!” Casana smiled, appreciative of the gesture.

“Heh heh, no problem, yeah.” Deidara smirked lightly, and tossed the cloak aside. No way was he giving it back. He said he'd take it, never said he'd give it back!


Sitting down at the table.

“Good evening sir and madam, I shall show you to your table.” The host said and led the two to a small table.

“Here you go, yeah.” Deidara pulled out one of the chairs for Casana to sit on. He smirked mischievously, and she failed to notice.

“Hey thanks, you didn't have to-AH!” Casana was about to sit on it, but Deidara pulled it too far back for her and she fell to the floor.

Deidara laughed as Casana grumbled lightly and stood.

“Oops, I pulled it too far for you, yeah!” Deidara declared.

“Oh well, we all need to laugh.” Casana shrugged and pulled the chair back, sitting down.


Ordering food.

“Are we ready to order?” The waitress asked them.

“I'll have the special, and she'll have the rib rack combination.” Deidara said before Casana could speak.

“But Deidara-” Casana began but it was too late, the waitress took the menus and walked off. “I'm a vegetarian!”

“Oops. Guess I forgot.” Deidara grinned.

Casana sighed, shaking her head. But she managed a little smile. “What am I going to do with you...”


Paying the bill.

“Thank you for coming, hope you enjoyed! Please come again!” The waitress placed the bill on the table and left.

Deidara looked at the bill, and shook his head. “C'mon Casana, let's leave, yeah.”

“But we didn't-” Casana didn't get to finish her protest as Deidara grabbed her wrist and ran out of the place.

“The fine art of dine and dash, my love.” Deidara smirked at her as they got outside.

“Deidara....” Casana tried to say, but then just shook her head.


The walk home.

“Man, that was really good.” Deidara belched, and laughed. “Don't you think, yeah?”

“I didn't get to eat much since someone ordered me meat!” Casana grumbled. “You know I don't eat meat!”

“But you love me anyway, and you know it, yeah.” Deidara reminded her, smirking seductively as he ran his hand down her arm sensually.

Immediately Casana blushed and didn't say anything else.

“Heh heh...” Deidara looked pretty smug, proud of himself.

They soon arrived back at the hideout, which of course Deidara went in ahead of her as opposed to walking in with her.

“Oh well, it's what he does.” Casana murmured with a shrug, going in after the blonde.


The goodnight kiss.

“So what now, yeah? I have to kiss you goodnight?” Deidara grimaced.

Casana felt a bit hurt. “...No, you don't have to. It's not mandatory.”

“Good, because I don't just want a kiss.” Deidara smirked, leaning toward her ear. “Frankly, I think we should the whole way, yeah.” His hand went down her backside, going lower and lower.

“Ah...but Deidara we....” Casana tried to protest as she blushed madly.

“C'mon, you know you want me...yeah.” Deidara purred, guiding her to his room very slowly, yet quickly.


And there you have it, folks. Deidara takes her jacket but doesn't give it back, pulls her chair out too far so she'll fall, orders her meat when she's a vegetarian, runs out of the restaurant without paying, doesn't say something sweet on the walk home, doesn't walk her to the door, and expects more than just a simple goodnight kiss.

You wonder, how does Casana put up with it?

It's simple, her love for Deidara is stronger than any silly mistake he makes. Chivalry or not, she still loves him too much.

And Deidara? Well even though chivalry isn't his thing, that doesn't mean he doesn't love her. He just has a different way of showing it.
