Deidara often woke up in the middle of the night, restless and tired, but unable to return into his period of slumber.
He hated those nights, since they meant no more sleep. But when he caught sight of the sleeping woman next to him in his bed, he immediately softened and smiled a little. There was nothing he enjoyed more, next to his art, than being around her. Being around her kept him in balance, and he felt in ways he'd never felt before, and he liked it. Around the rest, he kept cool and calm, but alone with her, he was as loving as he could get. An attitude he used only with her. Deidara gently lay against her, placing his lips on her soft cheek, interlacing his fingers with hers as he looked down at her. In the dim light of the room, he could see her soft, peaceful face as she slept. His heart soared with love and adoration, all directed at her. With her, he fell asleep a lot better. His sleeping love. "Sleep well, my precious turtledove..." Deidara whispered softly into her ear. She stirred slightly, but didn't awake. It wasn't long before he fell asleep again, his hand never leaving hers. I referenced the pose, but I forgot where...  Anyway, I thought I'd try a whole new approach! 8D See the darkness? I tried it and thought it was cool. It fit because the room is dark since it's nighttime and all, you know? So there you have it.  You know the disclaimer by now.  |
