★When did you start drawing?
Well I've drawn since I was little, doing little stick figures and doodles. xD Then by 5-6th grade, I was pretty much drawing people. They sucked, though. xD Then during 7th grade, my friend gave me some tips on drawing, and so I gradually got a little better. I'd been drawing a lot since then.

★Which hand do you use for drawing?
My right hand, since I'm a righty.

★Which is easier to draw - male or female?
Definitely female. I actually know the curves meant to be there. Guys, well, not so much. Dx

★Which is easier to draw - long hair or short hair?
Both is usually okay enough for me. I do like longer hair, but I can draw short if I do it right.

★Is it easier to draw the head facing towards the right or the left?
How about straight ahead? XD Well, it doesn't make any difference really. I can pretty much do either one.

★Is it easier to draw the side view of the face or the front view?
I have a WAY easier time doing the front view. Profiles HAVE become a little bit easier for me these days, but I still just don't like doing them. Frontal views are especially hard when I have to draw the eyes. I'm fairly good with eyes, but aligning them perfectly is such a BITCH. DX And doing the lips, well, it takes me a few tries unless I just do a straight line.

★What do you have problems in drawing?
Male anatomy without clothing, hands, fingers, realism, animals, backgrounds, vehicles, and most objects.

★What do you like to draw?
Chibis, people. >w<

★Are you a traditional artist or a digital artist?
I have a pretty good balance of both! I draw by hand, and I colour digitally. That really works for me.

★Where do you start drawing from?
I draw the head, the neck, shoulders for reference, then the hair, the eyes, the nose, the mouth, and then I move down to the chest and make the body, then the arms, the legs, and then put in the clothes.

★What is your drawing habit that you are aware of?
There's a lot, but one of them is that I avoid showing hands as much as I can. Especially when they're just dangling there.

★What do you keep in mind when you do lineart?
Making clear lines, and erasing all that I can. Inking is such a pain in the butt, but if I want it to be clear, I have to make sure to do it right.

★Any tips for coloring/shading?
I can't shade to save my life, I'm always on solid colours. But I guess the best thing to do with shading is when there are shadow areas, like rumples in clothing and in the figure, and when it comes to the hair, do whatever works for you. I've seen different styles of shading. Just try not to go TOO dark.

★How long does it take to finish a piece of art?
It really depends. If I'm working really hard on it, probably close to an hour. If it's just an average drawing, between 15-35 minutes. I don't know, I don't really keep track. And that's all without colouring. Colouring is based on how much there is to colour, and if you take out all the times I stop to take a break, well over an hour.

★What music do you listen to while you draw?
The music I have on my compy, of course. |3

★How long does it take you to come up with an idea?
There is no how long. I always have ideas I may not have done, and I'm always getting inspired for new ones, just about anything inspires me. I just let it come to me, I don't look for it.

★Your favorite drawing utensils?
Pencils, good pens/sharpies for inking, erasers.

★Your favorite color/the color that you use a lot?
I don't really have a favourite. It just depends what's going to be the colour schemes in the drawing. When there is a certain scheme I have to work with, I go with that. But when I've got free range, I do use colours that I like, but also colours that I feel would suit the characters.

★Your favorite style(s)?
Anime/manga and chibis. X3

★Are you satisfied with your current art?
To be honest, yes and no. Yes, because I've improved so much in the past few years, and have gotten better since last year. I can do a lot of things I haven't been able to in the past and I'm happy about that. And no because I still have SO many flaws, and could still improve, and I still don't always get the picture I have in my head and that pisses me off so much. So, yes and no.

★What kind of artist are you aiming for?
I want to be able to draw anime and manga styles, realism, and chibis just pefectly. X3 I even want to paint, as a hobby. But yeah, being a drawing artist is really just a fun hobby.
